 After only six months in CNI full-time Tom and Lori Scheffler, who were on the verge of losing everything financially, have earned more than $100,000 and are well on their way to creating the financial freedom they’ve been searching for. 

CARLSBAD, CA  AUGUST 31, 2009… Just a couple months before starting their CNI business, Tom and Lori Scheffler had hit rock bottom financially and had actually qualified for government assistance. Today, just six months later their life has completely changed as a result of the CNI opportunity. In addition to earning more than $100,000 in income, only the second person yet to do so, they have more than 15,000 people on their growing team. And, for the first time in a long time, they can see a future bright with possibilities. 

“Lori and I never want to go back to where we were before CNI,” Tom said. “Reaching this milestone has made me even more determined to keep working harder and faster. My big “why” is my family and being able to provide for them and I thank God everyday that CNI has afforded me such an incredible opportunity”. 

The Scheffler’s are nothing short of excited about their rise to the top. 

“I remember watching Scott and Annette Myrick earn the first $100,000 in the company and knowing that I was behind them and a few other leaders who were working to reach that milestone,” Tom recalled. “I’m a competitive kind of guy and love friendly competition, so I told those other leaders jokingly, ‘watch your back’ and stepped everything up a notch. And, we made it ahead of the pack. That really makes things fun and exciting.” 

What’s the key to the Scheffler’s success? According to them it’s talking to as many new people as possible about CNI and CORE4, and identifying the people on their team who are producing and working with them to achieve their goals. 

“People always ask me, ‘How or where do you find new people?’,” Tom said with a smile. “I just tell them with 7 out of 10 people who are overweight, it’s so easy to find interested people if you just open your mouth. My best advice is talk to everyone. That’s exactly what I do.” 

Tom and Lori have celebrated their accomplishment by purchasing a much needed brand new F-150 .  

“It’s a nice feeling to walk into a car dealership and know that you can buy a vehicle and pay cash for it,” Tom said enthusiastically. 

The Scheffler’s have already set their next goal in CNI and that’s to earn a lease on new Audi as part of CNI’s new 5-Star Double Diamond Recognition Program. And, they hope to help others on their team achieve their same success. Here’s a few things that have helped them and their team be successful: 

·         Establish reachable, attainable goals—Start out talking to 5 people per day, then increase it to 10, then to 20.  

·         Be determined—Stay focused on your goal no matter what happens. Make the decision not to let anything get in your way. 

·         Sow the Seeds that Fall on Good Ground—Work with people that show passion, desire and excitement.
